ABOUT ME
ABOUT ME
I'm Illin Johnson. I am a neurodevelopmental support coach and I'm here to help neurodiverse people and their families become acquainted with Autism and ADHD. I am also a late-diagnosed autistic person who has spent a lot of time with my good friend, Anxiety. With my help we can work together to improve your understanding of Autism/ADHD and learn how to unmask and manage symptoms. You'll come to find that your neurodiverse mind does not limit you but equips you with endless possibilities.
EXPERIENCE
Neurodiversity has been a part of my life since the beginning. My younger brother was diagnosed autistic at 4 years old and I decided to study as much as I could about it, volunteered and worked at homes and centres. I also worked as an ABA (Applied Behavioural Analysis) tutor for a short time and have an understanding of how harmful certain kinds of behavioural therapy can be. It took a long time for me to realise in the end that I was autistic too! After finally being diagnosed at 29 and now equipped with these experiences, I want to be able to share what I’ve learnt and help other families understand what neuro-developmental conditions really are and how to thrive in this chaotic world.
